ABOUT

Having owned animals from a young age, my deep-rooted passion for their health and welfare led me to pursue a BSc degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University.

Throughout my time at University, I completed a placement year at Eastcott Veterinary Referrals, working within their canine physiotherapy department, assisting with outpatient consultations as well as providing physiotherapy treatment to inpatients. I gained a vast amount of experience in a wide range of neurological, orthopaedic, and palliative management cases, working very closely alongside the specialists to provide the best care possible.

Alongside my canine background, horses have always been a big part of my life. I began riding when I was 4 years old, attending Pony Club activities and competitions which later turned into a love for eventing.

Prior to my degree, I worked in a variety of equine roles and spent time shadowing a multitude of equine vets. I now work part time at a local equine Veterinary Practice alongside my physiotherapy work at Freedom To Move, enabling me to develop a deep understanding of the underlying causes and effects of the injuries and conditions horses may experience, as well as building my knowledge of how physiotherapy can support these cases.
